Day three of Winter Storm

Today there isn't any new snow but what is here isn't going anywhere soon either. A little more icicles are forming though and the icicles that are here are going as there is little melting on the roofs.

The front entrance to the house, as the snow begins to slide off and icicles start to form, these icicles are over a foot long

In the front yard a tree has some issues as the ice helps break off some branches

This is a winter wonderland tree as its full of ice and snow

The bird who lives in here may or may not like the icicles forming on the front step

In the pagoda there are hundreds of icicles forming as snow slowly melts

Here's a close up of the thickness of ice on the trees.

More ice on trees, its about 1/2 and inch

This just looked cool

This weather vane won't be spinnimg anytime soon since its been iced

Even the bird feeders have iced up

In a State of Emergency

These are pictures of the second day of the Winter Ice/Snow Storm in southern Indiana.
Although we are lucky because we have power tonight, and further south and into Kentucky there are reports of over 250,000 residents without power. Also all schools were closed today even the Colleges and University's. Here in Jasper IN. we Got about 1/2 inch of ice and about 9 inches of Snow, now here are some photos.

West Division Rd empty today as the snow covered ice causes dangerous driving conditions
