In a State of Emergency

These are pictures of the second day of the Winter Ice/Snow Storm in southern Indiana.
Although we are lucky because we have power tonight, and further south and into Kentucky there are reports of over 250,000 residents without power. Also all schools were closed today even the Colleges and University's. Here in Jasper IN. we Got about 1/2 inch of ice and about 9 inches of Snow, now here are some photos.

West Division Rd empty today as the snow covered ice causes dangerous driving conditions

Pine Tree with icicles forming on the tips of the branches

My mom's garden covered in snow and ice

Ice covered grass

Shoveling out along the walkway with 9 inches of snow

Icicles along the edge of the Garage

This Dogwood tree sags and glitters as it is covered in ice and snow

As the sun begins to shine the trees begin to glisten
